Drake just dropped his new single "Nice For What",
which samples Lauryn Hill's 1998 track "Ex-Factor."
"Nice For What" was
produced by Canadian producer Murda Beatz who worked on Drake's previous
records, 2017's More Life and 2016's VIEWS.
alongside the single, the
Canadian rapper also released an accompanying video: an ode to female
empowerment starring Rashida Jones, Tiffany Haddish, Tracee Ellis Ross, Olivia
Wilde, Misty Copeland, Issa Rae, Jourdan Dunn, Zoe Saldana and more.
The rapper made a cameo at Majid Jordan's concert in Toronto on
Thursday where he announced to the crowd that he would be releasing new music
on Friday night.
"The reason I’m here
tonight is because I’m back in the city finishing my album," Drake
told the crowd. "I’ve got a new single dropping tomorrow night, too, just
in case you got some free time.
Last month Drake also
appeared in Migos' retro music video for "Walk It Talk It."

for Drake's forthcoming album.
